Welcome to shop.tigerstripes.co, a creative venture born from the heart and mind of Daniel Parkinson, an artist, photographer, and musician with a passion for crafting meaningful, sustainable fashion.
Daniel’s roots run deep in creativity. As the son of Australian music legend Doug Parkinson and grandson of the highly acclaimed and awarded water colourist John Parkinson, artistry is in his blood. He channels this heritage into every piece, designing unique, artist-crafted garments that tell a story.
Our mission is simple: to create clothing that’s kind to the planet and its people. We’re committed to sustainable and ethical principles, using only organic and ethically sourced fabrics where possible. Every garment is thoughtfully designed with cut-to-sew techniques and produced in sweatshop-free environments, ensuring quality and integrity at every step.
We believe in exclusivity with purpose. That’s why we release limited edition collections, each piece a wearable work of art. Based in the vibrant cities of Sydney, Australia, and Osaka, Japan, our label blends global inspiration with a local touch.
We’re also embracing the future of fashion by incorporating blockchain and NFC tag technology. This allows us to ensure transparency, authenticity, and a deeper connection between you and the story behind your garment.
"My personal mission statement: I grew up in the world of rock and roll, chaos, joy, uniquely talented and mystical souls who danced madly on the edge of society. Surrounded by the fusion of high art, graffiti, surfing, skateboarding and decadent lifestyle excess, my mother also instilled in me to be mindful and fully conscious of the things we eat and wear. Organic foods. Organic fabrics. Stay away from processed foods and the toxicity of modern society. Coupled with a fascination for the Japanese artistic aesthetic and desire for perfection, I am aiming to bring this all together here at www.tigerstripes.co."
Thank you for joining us on this journey to redefine fashion: one sustainable, ethical, and artful piece at a time.
